Up to 32 people are dead and dozens more injured after a shopping center roof collapsed in Riga on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Emergency services were called Zolitudes shopping center at around 18:00 after the roof of the building collapsed on shoppers.
It's understood a winter garden was being constructed on the roof and may have been the cause of the collapse, although there are conflicting reports.
Among the the dead are three firefighters, said emergency services. Around 30 people have been injured and hospitalized, reports LETA.
