A Russian warplane was spotted entering Estonian airspace on on Tuesday, Nov. 19, reports public broadcasting
The TU- 134 plane flew from Kaliningrad towards Chkalovski, entered the Estonian air space in the area of the Vaindloo Island, in the depth of a half a nautical mile and stayed in Estonia's airspace for less than a minute, Estonian Defence Forces headquarters reported.
The border violation was registered by the Estonian air operations management center in Ämari.
The plane was in radio communications with the Estonian air navigation center and its transponder was switched on.
