Major Baltic media group to be sold

One of the Baltics biggest media groups will be sold, reports LETA. 

Alma Media announced they would sell the Baltic News Service Group, which has offices in all three countries. 

Prospective buyers are being sought in all Baltic States. 

Alma Media representatives have declined to comment, and the BNS news agency's director Jurga Eivaite has neither confirmed nor rejected this information.

The Verslo zinios media publication also reports that several major media companies in Lithuania have been offered to consider purchasing the BNS Group.

The BNS Group owns the BNS news agency and the media monitoring companies Mediaskopas, Mediju Monitorings, ETA Uudistetalituse.
