UN secretary general set for Latvia visit

The secretary general of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon will visit Latvia next week.

Mr Ki-Moon will take part in an international conference on the establishment of Latvia and its restoration from a historical perspective from Nov. 14-15.

The conference will be organized by the Presidential Chancery and the Commission of the Historians of Latvia. It will be dedicated to the 95 anniversary of Latvia and the 25th anniversary of the Popular Front of Latvia.

The conference will be opened by Latvian President Andris Berzins.
