Up to 200 events will take place in Latvia after it takes control of the European Union presidency in 2015, reports LETA
Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said events included the Eastern Partnership summit in 2015 and the Europe-Asia meeting of education ministers. It's also hoped the digital assembly annual meeting could also be hosted in the country. ''We would like Europe to follow us, instead of us following Europe,'' Rinkevics said "The Secretariat of the Latvian Presidency has been given the task of working together with ministries and other state institutions to decide on these events,' 2025 © The Baltic Times /Cookies Policy Privacy Policy
