VILNIUS - Russia has ended its intensified examination procedure for the vehicles from Lithuania, reports ELTA. Lithuanian National Road Carriers Association LINAVA President Algimantas Kondrusevicius said, according to the information received on Oct. 1, Lithuanian carriers were able to cross the border without any delays. However, according to him, there was no official information from Russia.

“I can say that we were informed by the carriers. We hope that the information is reliable. We received the information that from the morning [Tuesday] there was no examination procedure for vehicles from Lithuania,” said Kondrusevicius.
He said that he did not hope to receive any official announcement from Russia about the end of the examination. “I do not think that they will inform us about the intensified examination, or about the end of it,” said Kondrusevicius.
