RIGA - A delegation of Latvian scientists and researchers had a meeting with Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis on Aug. 28 to try to reach agreement on a number of important issues and problems concerning the development of the sciences in Latvia, said Latvian Academy of Sciences representative Inga Talberga, reports LETA.The prime minister agreed that budget funds would have to be provided to cover value added tax within the European Union’s 7th framework program, as well as for scientific projects that have won international competitions.Dombrovskis also agreed that the Ca...
