According to Julius Panka, chair of the Lithuanian National Youth Union, this organization will join the protesters against the gay pride March for Equality to take place on Saturday, reports ELTA. “I think we will join the protesters, not as an organization, more like individuals who disapprove of such values. We will not raise our flag, but we will surely participate in the event with the rest of the protesters,” said Panka.

The Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania decided that the gay pride parade will take place on central Gedimino Avenue in Vilnius city. Meanwhile, the citizens who were not in favor of this were invited to attend a solemn protest to take place on Saturday in Katedros square, in Vilnius.
