Tallink borrows for Isabelle purchase

TALLINN - Shipping concern Tallink informed the Tallinn stock exchange that it has entered into a loan agreement with Swedbank to finance the purchase of the cruise ferry Isabelle, reports LETA. The purchase of the vessel was initially financed by bank overdrafts that will be refinanced with the mentioned loan. The amount of the new loan is 24 million euros and the maturity is 5 years. The loan will be secured with a mortgage on the Isabelle. Tallink added that the settlement of the bond issue that took place on June 3 has been concluded.
