VILNIUS - On Thursday, during a meeting with Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevicius, Poland's Minister of Foreign Affairs said that a new page in bilateral relations has been opened, reports LETA/ELTA.
Lithuania's Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevicius is currently on a working visit in Poland under the request of Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
In the meeting officials discussed bilateral relations between Lithuania and Poland and its further development. Also the upcoming Lithuania's Presidency of the European Union (EU) Council in 2013 was presented.
Ministers reviewed possibilities of cooperation in implementation of the Eastern Partnership program and relevant EU agenda. Ways to develop security and defense policy was also discussed.
