Sutkus supports wage hike

VILNIUS - Head of  the Lithuanian Business Confederation Valdas Sutkus says that the raise in the minimum monthly wage (MMW) by 150 litas (43 euros), reaching 1,000 litas per month was not a dramatic step, and if a company cannot pay that much to an employee then something is wrong with the employer’s worldview and morality, reports ELTA.“If the business cannot afford paying at least 290 euros before taxes, then either something is wrong with the business, or with the businessman’s worldview and morality, or some other things are wrong.
