Four companies in bus bid

RIGA - Riga municipal public transport company Rigas satiksme says that four bidders have applied to supply new buses for Riga, and one company wants to supply new trolley-buses, announced company press secretary Viktors Zakis, reports LETA.The only bidder to supply new trolley-buses for Riga is the Czech company Skoda, which also won the previous tender in 2006 and supplied a total of 150 new trolley-buses to Riga by 2009 for a total of 42.5 million lats (60.7 million euros).
