RIGA - The Latvian Cabinet of Ministers committee decided on Jan. 21 to forward to the government a concept of compulsory health insurance that links healthcare with residents’ tax payments, reports LETA.The Health Ministry offers two healthcare funding models. One of them offers to keep the current healthcare funding system, linking a person’s right to healthcare with his or her tax payments.
