Estonian government approves of the amendments to the Greek program

TALLINN - At today’s session the Estonian government agreed to the position that Greece has fulfilled the conditions set for the financial aid program's first review and agreed to the amendments to the memorandum of reciprocal understanding, Public Broadcasting reports.

Estoniathus supports extending the deadline for achieving sustainability of the Greek state debt by two years, reducing the EFSF guarantee fees by 0.1 percent, as well as postponing interest payments till 2023, extending loan deadlines by 15 years and allocating 10 billion euros from the financial aid program to Greece to buy back state debt.

The government said that these measures cannot increase the spending of states that grant financial aid.
