Starting Sept. 24, the marketing director of Saku Olletehas brewery, Kadri Arm, will manage the marketing sphere of the Latvian brewery Aldaris too, reports Aripaev Online. Arm said that this is a unique challenge. “Aldaris as one of Latvia’s most prominent brands, reflects local culture and social values, which in turn requires marketing that takes into consideration the local consumer and their flavor preferences,” she said. Saku Olletehas board chairman Margus Kastein said that the appointment is a unique cooperation model in the whole Carlsberg group and became possible thanks to the strong level of Saku’s marketing work. Arm has worked as marketing manager of Saku since 2010. Saku Olletehas has been a part of the international Carlsberg concern since 2008.

Estonian national carrier Estonian Air in partnership with Optiontown has introduced for its passengers a chance to secure empty seats next to their seat at a “nominal price,” elevating their travel comfort and experience, reports LETA. In this way passengers can enjoy more space during their flight. To order the empty seat next to their seat, passengers have to go to the Estonian Air Web site and choose the ‘Empty Seat Option.’ Only a limited number of options are offered for each flight, based on availability of rows of empty seats and other factors, and hence an empty seat sign-up does not guarantee an empty seat. In case passengers are assigned to empty seat(s), the empty seat price for that flight will be automatically refunded within five business days after flight departure.
