Russian trade barrier eases

VILNIUS - After three years of negotiations with the Russian authorities, Lithuanian cargo carriers will be able to enter Russia easier, reports ELTA. Lithuanian customs officials received a decree from the Russian Federal Customs Service stating that Russian customs officials have been ordered not to apply additional screening measures to transported goods and vehicles of Lithuanian carriers.According to the President of Lithuanian National Road Carriers Association (LINAVA) Algimantas Kondrusevicius, Russian customs authorities lifted the additional checks for Lithuanian carriers,...
