TALLINN - The ministers in the government who support plans to raise wages in their administrative areas have requested a total of more than 82 million euros extra for pay funds from 2013 State budget, writes Aripaev.

This would raise spending on human resources above the level of the year 2008.

The Ministry of Finance is compiling the 2013 draft State budget and has received additional requests from other ministries for raising their HR spending by a total of 82.2 million euros.

If all requests were to be approved, the State’s human resources spending would amount to more than 650 million euros in 2013, nearly 15 percent more than in 2012.

In 2008, human resources spending from the State budget amounted to 630 million euros.
