Lithuanian Post goes electric

VILNIUS - Lithuania Post introduced last week an electric car to be used for the provision of postal services, reports ELTA. Based on estimations made by the company, the electric car will make savings of several thousand litas per year, the Lithuanian Post said in a statement.Costs per 100 kilometers covered by the electric Tazzari Zero amount to 7 litas (approx. 2 euros), five times less than using a conventional petrol car.
