Harmony formidable in next year’s election

RIGA - In the coming weeks, Unity plans to speak with other Latvian parties to begin preparations and unite under one ticket in next year’s Riga City Council elections, reported the daily Diena on April 20. Unity spokesman Artis Kampars said that it is too early to say whether Latvian parties will be able to come to some sort of an agreement to run together in order to counter Harmony Center in the Riga City Council elections. He said that All for Latvia-For Fatherland and Freedom/LNNK (VL-TB/LNNK) could be one of the parties who agree to unite in the Riga City Council elections....
