TALLINN - Tallinn’s Port Authority put forward an idea that the Estonian tax system should be reshaped to motivate cities to develop ports, reported the Lithuanian maritime news portal Jura24.lt. Estonian joint Tallinn port, which includes the ports of old Tallinn, Muuga, Paldiski, Paljasaare and Saaremaa is managed by the government.The local municipalities of Tallinn and other cities miss a larger financial contribution from their ports.
