VILNIUS/YEREVAN - Lithuania's position is clear and unchanged, it supports the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Azubalis (pictured) said at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian on Thursday in Yerevan, news.am reports. According to him, offers elaborated by the OSCE MG Co-Chairs are worth high appraisal.

"The project is really a very good one, and we should support it. On the other hand, we support the solution to the issue within the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act," Azubalis said.

When asked about warlike and racist statements voiced by Azerbaijan, Lithuanian foreign minister said that any epithets prevent from creating a working atmosphere for solving problems. The most important is to have a political will to achieve progress.

"If the sides do not show a political will or one of the sides has less than the other, the process will not move," Azubalis said adding the conflicting parties should realize that important are not the epithets but how constructive one can approach the resolution of the conflict. Minister Azubalis said Lithuania backs the soonest implementation of Armenia-EU visa facilitation agreement.
