Vigil in Garliava

VILNIUS - Each day some 50-100 people stand around the house of Judge Neringa Venckiene in the town of Garliava, which is situated in the Kaunas region. They are ready to try to prevent any attempts by state officials to take an eight-year old girl from that house. After working hours the crowd around Venckiene’s house increases to several hundred people.The vigil is caused by the events of March 23.
