Saeima votes to keep their immunity privileges

RIGA - In what is almost a replay of past, troubling behavior in Latvian politics, Saeima members turned down proposed Constitutional amendments which would have seen parliament members relinquishing some of their immunity protections, as not enough votes were collected for a Constitutional majority - two-thirds - in the March 29 vote, reports LETA.
