Political turmoil in Lithuania

VILNIUS - Lithuania’s political party leaders are making announcements regarding possible changes in the ruling coalition, and even talk about early parliamentary elections.On March 6, Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius visited President Dalia Grybauskaite to ask her to fire Interior Minister Raimundas Palaitis. The meeting lasted only several minutes. It obviously showed that Grybauskaite was not happy to discuss the Palaitis issue. She promised to give her answer after a week.
