RIGA - Inquiries have been made about the branches and ATMs of the defunct Latvijas Krajbanka, KPMG Baltics corporate finance director Aivars Jurcans said in an interview with LNT television on March 2, reports Nozare.lv. Jurcans is optimistic about the chances of recovering enough money during the liquidation of the bank for the repayment of a loan taken out from the Deposit Guarantee Fund of more than 300 million lats (428.5 million euros).Jurcans, though, is not so optimistic about the creditors, including maestro Raimonds Pauls, and state and municipal institutions’ chances ...
