Latvenergo enjoys jump in exports, Baltic market share

RIGA - Last year joint-stock power utility Latvenergo earned 95.4 million lats in the export markets of Estonia, Lithuania and Norway, LETA reports.The positive company news was announced by company board member Uldis Bariss during the conference “Export Day 2012”, organized by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Feb 23.The bulk of Latvenergo income on external markets came from Lithuania at 67.1 million lats, followed by Estonia at 23.7 million lats, and Norway at 4.6 million lats.This is a significant increase, said Bariss, comparing the data to that ...
