RIGA - The Latvian government has announced plans to create a special new agency to handle the assets of state-run companies, national news agency LETA reported.The new agency would be responsible to the prime minister, Economy Minister Daniels Pavluts told reporters after the Reform Management Group’s meeting today.The Reform Management Group has approved the transition to a partially-centralized management of state-owned companies.
