Riga Airport fined for discriminatory pricing

RIGA - The Competition Council has fined Riga Airport 50,000 lats for abusing its dominant position and applying considerably lower fees for Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair than the national airline airBaltic, national news agency LETA reports.Competition Council representative Inita Kabanova informed Nozare.lv – a business news portal that is the sister-site of LETA – that the airport was fined and obliged to ensure that its fees are reasonable and non-discriminatory.
