TALLINN - Over 10,000 education employees will participate in the teachers strike all across Estonia in March, LETA writes, referring to National Broadcasting.

Chairman of the Education Employees Union Sven Rondik said that the exact number of participants in the strike will be clear by March 7, which is the first day of the three-day strike.

"The number of participants is the biggest in Tallinn, since more teachers work there. Over 3,100 had registered by noon and more are being added all the time. But altogether there are over 10,000 as of now," said Rondik.

Rondik said that teachers are very keen on expressing their protest since their wages are ridiculously low.
