“New Wave” to leave Jurmala

RIGA - The organizers of the prominent “New Wave” music festival have announced that the event will no longer be held in the Latvian seaside resort town of Jurmala.Russian composer Igor Krutoy, the lead organizer of the annual event, said it would be moved because of disagreements with the Jurmala city council.New Wave is one of the largest and most prominent music festivals in the Baltic states.
