EC stops EU funds flow to Latvia

RIGA - The European Commission has suspended European Union fund payments to Latvia, informing the Finance Ministry, which deals with the allocation of the funds, that the country lacks a mechanism for influencing decisions made by ministries and government agencies in the distribution of the EU funding, reports LETA.
