Cubans settle back home

RIGA - Foreign Ministry State Secretary Andris Teikmanis on Jan. 27 met with Cuban-born ethnic Latvian Linards Neimanis and his wife Arabella, who about a year ago repatriated from Cuba to Latvia, reports LETA.“We feel at home in Latvia,” said Linards, who was born and grew up in Cuba. Teikmanis praised the Latvian language skills of the family, especially Arabella’s, who only began learning Latvian when she arrived in Latvia.
