Schulz promises better budget deal

RIGA - Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis (Unity) on Jan. 31 met with the newly elected European Parliament President Martin Schulz and agreed to cooperate closely when drafting the European Union’s multi-annual budget for 2014-2020 so that it would be based on the principles of balance and fairness, reports LETA.
