Lawyers target Krajbanka assets

RIGA - Lawyers in Austria and Luxembourg have been hired to come up with a strategy for recovering bankrupt Latvijas Krajbanka’s assets, the Financial and Capital Market Commission’s deputy head Janis Brazovskis said in an interview with the business magazine Kapitals, reports Nozare.lv. On Nov. 21, 2011, the Financial and Capital Market Commission’s council halted Krajbanka operations and reported it to the Prosecutor General’s Office after a deficiency of around 100 million lats (142 million euros) was discovered in the bank.The documents on using Latvijas ...
