RIGA – On Dec 5, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the 2012 state budget bill which will be submitted for review in Saeima today. Next year, budget deficit will not exceed 2.5 percent of gross domestic product.
Consolidated budget revenue next year is projected at 4,516 billion lats, whereas expenditures – at 4,641 billion lats.
The budget bill says that the maximum government debt will be 6,2 billion lats at the end of 2011.
