VILNIUS -- Lithuania's national football coach Raimondas Zutautas has announced that he will step down from his position following the team's poor performance in the recent European Championships qualifying round.
Lithuania has fallen from 37th to 75th in just three years, the largest drop of any national team.
The country finished fourth in its pool at the qualifying tournament this week, behind Spain, the Czechs and Scotland.
