Ilves cancels Gryshchenko meeting

TALLINN -- Estonian President Toomas Hendrick Ilves has cancelled an upcoming meeting with Ukranian Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko.

Gryshchenko is currently visiting the Estonian capital. The meeting cancellation comes on the heels of a court decision in which former Ukranian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko was found guilty of abuse of power in a highly controversial decision.

"A Ukraine that has wandered from the road to democracy and the rule of law would be a big loss for all of Europe,”  Presidential press spokesman Toomas Sildam told national news agency uudised.err.ee.
