Estonians ramp up spending power with broadband

TALLINN - In the 1st quarter of this year seven out of ten Estonian households, according to Statistics Estonia data, had an Internet connection in the home, with most of these connections at the broadband level, reports LETA. The percentage of households with an Internet connection has increased slightly every year during the last five years.Seventy-one percent of households in Estonia had an Internet connection at home, and 66 percent had a broadband connection; these shares increased three and two percentage points, respectively, compared to the previous year.
