RIGA - I can’t help it. I’m an eternal optimist. One of my late mother’s favorite sayings was “Everything’s going to be OK,” and she was usually right when, for instance, I woke up feeling sniffly in the morning and didn’t want to go to school.And so I cannot help but be an optimist about this weekend’s snap election, just as I was an optimist about the parliamentary election that we had what – eleven months ago or so? In the event, I ended up being disappointed, as I would imagine a great many readers of The Baltic Times did do....
