RIGA -- The Latvain institute, which is tasked with promoting Latvia abroad, has announced a competition for creating an official facebook page for the country.
Contestents will have until Sept. 9 to register. They will then have 10 days to create a dynamic and informative outline for facebook page in English.
Submissions will be evaluated by a special jury, made up of representatives from the public relations, advertising, and design industries; representatives from non-governmental organizations; correspondents from foreign news agencies; social media specialists; bloggers; as well as representatives from the Latvian Institute and the State Chancellery.
