Estonian wins world championships in mind athletics

TALLINN -- An Estonian man has won gold at the 15th Mind Sports Olympiad, the world championships of mind games.

The olympiad saw more than 150 competitors from all over the world compete at board and card games, such as chess, bridge, sudoku and go-moku.

Andres Kuusk, an experienced mind games competitor with more than a dozen medals from world-level events, took home first place. Ankush Khandelawal representing India placed second and Tim Hebbes from the UK third.
