Riga airport sets new record

RIGA -- Riga International Airport has set a new record for passenger turnover, with more than 20,000 passengers in a single day.

The airport has seen steady growth in passengers numbers over the past few years, with most travelling to other European countries.

Passenger traffic through the airport is up by just under 20% year-on-year.
