World ice cream record beaten in Vilnius

VILNIUS -- A Lithuanian has beaten the world ice cream speed-eating record during a festival in Vilnius.

Mindaugas Puodzhyus, 21, set the new world record by eating 350 grams of ice cream in 29 seconds. The former record was set by a US citizen in 2006.

"I love ice cream, so I can eat many kilograms of it. I am very happy I managed to beat the world record," he said.
