RIGA - Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis has established two working groups to prepare the country for taking over the EU presidency in 2015.

One of the working groups will work on drawing up a budget estimate for the Latvian presidency, while the second working group will co-ordinate events for the setting up of a joint computer network and a national information system for the work with EU documents during the Latvian presidency.

A working group has already been established for the planning, recruiting and training of the presidency personnel, as well as for drafting staff guidelines and an organisational chart, the prime minister's office said in a press release.
