RIGA - Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis has thrown his support behind President Valdis Zatlers' aspirations to be re-elected president.
"You have gained the trust of the people and deserve another mandate for the next four years,'' Dombrovskis wrote in a book he presented to the president.
Zatlers said earlier that he hoped he would be able to continue for another four years as president following the elections in May.
