Estonia sees first conviction for internet pirate

TALLINN - An  Estonian court has passed down it's first sentence for illegally downloading material from the internet and selling it on. 

Ott Speek was sentenced to one year and three months in prison for copyright infringement after he was caught downloading popular video games, movies and business software.

The case has been ongoing for more than six years. The maximum possible sentence was 3 years in prison.
