RIGA - Latvian Interior Minister Linda Murniece has blacklisted former Moscow city mayor Yuri Luzhkov from entering the country.
Luzhkov had previously said he would apply for a residency permit in the country and had invested some 200,000 Ls into a local bank, fullfilling a new law that gives major investors a fast track for visa applications.
Murniece said including Luzhkov on the list would not ban him from the Schengen zone and that she would not push for such a ban.
