Teenage facebook murder shocks nation

VILNIUS - A date arranged on popular social networking website "facebook" has ended in tragedy after a 14-year-old boy confessed to murder.

The boy's victim, a 13-year-old girl from Alytus, met the boy through the website and travelled in secret to see him the the capital city. She was later found dead at a bus stop with her pants and underpants removed.

Police say they are still unsure as to whether the girl was raped or what the motive for the crime was.
