Four children -Lucy, Susan, Peter and Edmond- are sent to live with Professor Digory Kirke, who lives in a country house  to escape the horrors of World War II. Soon they find the passage from the old house of the professor to the mysterious country Narnia, ruled by the White Witch. Narnia has only one season- winter. There are no humans in Narnia, but there are a lot of magical animals, all of them are afraid of the White Witch, but the old prophecy says, that four human beings will save the country from the rule of the Witch.  So our heroes , with the help of Aslan ( magical lion, founder and creator of Narnia) are forced to fight with the White Witch and her troops, to restore justice and bring spring back to Narnia. But are they really in Narnia, and if so, why does Aslan look so much like the old professor? Can it be, that the magical country was created by the game, all household was playing, to help kids get their minds off the war.
