TALLINN - In the run up to elections early next year, the Estonian Greens party has announced that it would supply all the country's citizens with a "salary" of more than 80 euros per month.
The proposla, a brainchild of Green Party candidate Valdur Lahtvee, is aimed at relieving poverty.
According to ERR news portal, the proposal would result in an additional 590 million euros added to the budget.
